Great place to get away for lunch! – This is the place to go for something out of the ordinary, and the cozy atmosphere will make you feel like you're somewhere else as well. They load up you plate with piles of what ever you would like to try from their amazing line up of colorful and freah dips, salads, vegetables, and meat. I always leave full and satisfied! It's a little pricy for lunch, but for the quantity and quality of the food you definitely get your money's worth.
If you like Mediterranean, Fadis has all the flavors. – First time there, wife and I were greeted and welcomed. The ordering procedure was cheerfully explained, and the sample platter with meat ("If you would like meat.") was suggested. We found friendly and helpful service, servers, and bus people.... and wonderful food (Well, I didn't especially like the dip, but my wife did), all of it.... salads, vegetables, and beef kabob. Olive oil and spices made the food memorable.... (I love it when I carry a great after-taste and t... read more
A pigeon in Fadis'? Yes. – My wife and ate at the Fadi's on Westheimer and Dunvale. Everything was fine and tased good. Until of course my wife looked up and noticed a pigeon at the top the wall. We sat at opposite side from the line where you give your order. I walked over to the cooks and asked "Who is the manager?" He mentioned she was at the register so I walk to her and waited until she finished with the customer. I said, "There is a pigeon on top of the wall." She ignored me and started to ring up the next customer. I ... read more
Fresh Bread – The chicken and veggies were juicy and tender. Hummus was good and the bread was freshly made. Casual, quick and tasty. Perfect for a sunday meal.
Exellent Middle Eastern Food – I've been here several times, as well as the location in Meyerland. Consistantly yummy. Lots of variety. Everything is hot and fresh. I love the falafel sandwiches, humas, freshly bakes pita, and all the salads. I try to try a new dish everytime I go. Last time is was some sort of fried mashed potatoes. God, I don't know what was in there, but it was amazing! I'm always happy to go to this place.
Good Fast Mediterranean – They serve food a la carte style here, starting with the breads, then with the vegetables, and then with the meat and dessert. Prices are a little higher, but then again I've never really seen really cheap Mediterranean around (that tasted good). Taste quality is okay, but the portions are huge. 2 people could eat off of one plate and be okay. Plenty of seating and parking.
The worst restaurant ever! – My friends and I went to this restaurant last night and all we have to say about it is "BLAND FOOD with BAD SERVICE and a VERY $$$$$ PRICES for a NOT SO MEDITERRANEAN FOOD" after all It is more like fast food buffet or even Luby's cafeteria style in some middle-eastern flavor.
NOT GOING TO MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!!! – OK, so I grew up over in Saudi Arabia and Lebanese food has always been my favorite food. When I moved to Houston, everyone I knew said I would definately find some of the best, most authentic Lebanese food around! Well, after trying some of the other Lebanese/ Middle Eastern places around, I finally had my chance to try Fadi's! Wow! That was a mistake I will never make again. For starters, the pita is definately made fresh, but a far cry from any pita I ever got back in Saudi!! It r... read more
Hits the spot! – Fadi's always has fresh food, always made right. I give them a lot of kudos for taking the time to do everything the authentic way. Compared to actual restaurants in Lebanon, I'd say Fadi's actually stands up to the middle quality places. You're not gonna get food that tastes like your grandmother made it special for you, or what you get at some of the most favored restaurants in Beirut, but you won't be disappointed. Preparing Middle Eastern food is time consuming, and requires the best ingredients. Many pl... read more
