My relative received very indifferent care from Dr. Kayali.
Dr. kayali is a nice man but his bedside manner when it comes to giving a cancer diagnosis needs much improvement. I got wishy-washy explanations about my reoccurrence of cancer and ended up leaving more confused than when I arrived. His bedside manner is different not meaning that it's bad he just does not communicate well or know how to appetize with his patients well. He acts like it's all going to work out in the end when we all know that's not true.
Dr. Kayali I feel fortunate to have found Dr.Kayali to treat me for my recently diagnosed aggressive multiple myeloma. On my first visit he connected me with Moffitt Hospital. He knew my MM was aggressive and treated it aggressively. He is knowledgeable, caring, and experienced. Because of his care and recommendations I am in a clinical trial using immunotherapy. After one year my MM is under control and I feel great. I can't say enough about this doctor.
Dr. Kayali was both professional and compassionate. He listened carefully to my history, provided explanations in a way that I could clearly understand. He took his time and made me feel comfortable. He was thorough in his assessment and the tests he ran. I am an RN with over 40 years of experience in health care working in healthcare with world renowned physicians and I do not hesitate to say he is one of the top MDs I have dealt with professionally and personally.
Sent the nurse practitioner in to deal with me twice. But she was stumped so had to get him. Was not concerned with how I was feeling. Labs were ok so I must be ok. Last time he told me I needed to see my primary for anxiety meds. I am not anxious or depressed. I'm in pain and upset that the doctor sits in front of me with his arms crossed telling me there's nothing wrong with me because my labs looked ok. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, least of all those looking for empathy.
Listens, evaluates, calms. He is one of the absolute best ! As a bonus, one of the nicest human beings you'll ever meet.
