I recommend Faded Rose to anyone that loves a nice home cook meal. It's worth every penny. My wife never ate tartar sauce and Faded Rose got her to eat their tartar sauce.

Charles, our waiter, was full of personality and made you feel so welcomed. The food was out of this world good! We had the thin fish, red beans and rice, stuffed mushrooms, and boiled shrimp appetizer. Delicious authentic Creole food. You won’t be disappointed.
First time to visit the Faded Rose.....absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!! Felt like we were at home eating our way thru NOLA!
We were invited to eat there tonight and the food was sooo good. The waiter was friendly and did a good job taking care of us even though he was very busy.

As we say in New Orleans, the Faded Rose is a great place to pass a good time and the menu is great too!
Unexpectedly good Cajun/Creole cooking! Loved the gumbo and Shrimp and Grits for lunch.
