Dr. Fackler and his entire team were professional, thorough and personable. What a fantastic experience from checking in to being examined and follow up afterward on labs! Negligence, misdiagnosis, and years of preventable suffering. Dr. Fackler failed to identify a mucin-secreting appendix leak that was clearly visible on imaging, a core GI issue that falls directly within his specialty. He never properly reviewed my prior scans that he had access to through Atrium’s portal, never questioned when my escalating symptoms first started and what was done that day to connect the suffering I was experiencing back to the mucin leak. After going through the trouble of getting a referral for care, and then having all my doctor's notes faxed over to Dr. Fackler's office (per Dr. Anderson's request) during a series of about 4 separate phone calls to Dr. Fackler's office, I was denied care. No reason for the denial of care was given and I was not allowed to ask the provider for a reasoning. Horrible care providers.
I didn’t think a Dr.could refuse to help someone, but that’s exactly what happens to me! I contacted a Dr. I had not seen in 4yrs. and was told that it would be 2to3 months before I could get an appointment. So I contacted Dr. Fackler’s office in hopes I could get some help sooner! He refused to see me! While I seek some advise on how to proceed, my advise would be try to find a Dr. that live up to their oath to help the sick!
