My husband and I have had a membership at F45 Clairemont since they opened in Jan 2025. Joe and all the trainers are amazing and make it a very warm, welcoming, and supportive space. They're always making an effort to connect with members throughout class and help with your form. When I got pregnant I wasn't sure if I could continue attending classes, but Joe encouraged me to continue light resistance training and modify exercises as needed. In my class pass days I tried a lot of the local gyms and fitness centers, including big chains and more private experiences and to me the sweet spot is F45 Clairemont. The coaches go the extra mile to make it feel like a community and help me with my individual goals, and there are just enough people to add energy without it being overwhelming like some of the bigger class size experiences out there. Overall I like this F45 and most of the coaches I’ve met here have been professional and friendly. That said, I had one frustrating experience with coach Azin where the station directions were unclear. She initially told me to start at 5B, then I heard her assign another student to 5B as well. When I asked to confirm, she said she wasn’t sure and suggested 5A. Later, after finishing 5A/5B/6A/6B, I asked where 7A was and she firmly insisted I should go to 4B, even though it didn’t match the sequence. She was very assertive th... read more
