My wife and I have called a local plumber in Peekskill several times and every visit has been great. One time, our sewer grinder stopped working and Malachi came out, found the problem, and let us know that only the company that owns the grinder could fix it, so he didn't charge us for the visit. Another time, our basement flooded because the drain motor failed. The most recent call was for our hot water heater, which was pretty old and rusty inside. Gas water heater installation completed—mission accomplished! Seth and Randall from F & L Plumbing & Heating did an outstanding job. They finished everything in about an hour and a half. Super professional, excellent workmanship, and clear communication! I asked if they could swap the standard plastic drain fitting on the new water heater for a brass fitting and ball valve, and they took care of it at no extra cost. i had a great experience both times i've called f & l plumbing & heating. last night was my second time needing their emergency plumbing service for a sewer backup (black water). they answer the phone even after hours, and the plumbers let you know the price before they show up. they have extra long drain snakes—last time, we couldn't find the clean out near the curb, so we needed a 200 foot line, but other plumbers only had 100 or 150 feet. they even found the buried clean out before leaving. last night, kyle really went ab... read more
F & L Plumbing & Heating replaced the wax ring seal under our downstairs bathroom toilet. On the day of the repair, Jaxon called me half an hour before arriving to let me know he was on the way. When he got here, Jaxon and Thomas finished the job in about an hour and twenty minutes. They put the toilet back, checked carefully for leaks, and left the area neat and tidy.
