I found Dr. Chavez to be very, very thorough in reviewing the symptoms and history of my condition. During the extensive time that I spoke with him he never seemed to be rushing, and I didn’t feel rushed. Dr. Chavez ordered a number of tests, and scheduled my next visit. I, at no point in my visit, feel that I was not receiving the best care possible. Lastly, his bedside manner was warm, patient, and friendly. Would I recommend Dr. Chavez to a friend or relative (or a total stranger)? In a heartbeat I’d highly recommend him!
Did not feel comfortable/cared about/welcomed. Very arrogant and condescending. Blamed me for his staff not doing their job. Lectured me about not wanting certain shots and then told me there are other pulmonologists. You know what? Yes, there are! I’ll never go back.
I felt very comfortable. Office staff treated me with respect & friendlyness. I don't have to wait an excessive amount of time in the office or for appointments. If I need something in-between appointments there is a friendly voice on the other end of the phone to help. Doctor listens & asks a lot of questions. I feel in good hands & trust this Doctor.
Going there for 3 yrs. Not once was I informed what breathing stage I was at. He is all about the money he makes from giving you test after test with multiple appointments. Talks down to you if you question the COVID shot. And you wait forever in the waiting room. Go elsewhere.
If you want to sit in the waiting room for an hour and then a half hour in the exam room then he is right for you. Staff does not communicate with patients very well and lack courtesy.
I saw the Dr. for about 15 minutes and was charged for a full hour. I questioned the charge and they said it was for the time of him looking over my record. 45 minutes to look over my records, I doubt it. I would not go back to him.
