Be extremely careful when looking for duct cleaning services. I knew I needed the service, but when the techs arrived they had told me that I had a major mold problem in the handler/ducts, and that it would cost on the order of $6K to fix (standard cleaning was $~600 for two units). The proposed multi-day treatment included liquid sanitation in the vents, air purifiers, and fumigation. Great work and communication! Did an excellent job deep cleaning our 25ft dryer vent and came back to do the entire HVAC system and individual vents including mold removal. A bit pricey, but nothing that seemed abnormal for the necessary kind of services provided.
