When I first moved to Atlanta, I needed to find an eye doctor. I started seeing Dr. Horac. I went to him for a few years. The last time I went, he tried putting me in a contact lenses that would have ended up costing me $600 a year. I told Dr. Horac he was out of his mind. Mind you, I've been in contacts or glasses since I was 13 months old with VERY HIGH farsightedness. Finally after some back and forth, I just let him have it. The doctor and entire staff get 3A rating. I was seen at the appointed time, Ms. Maria picked my frames and they look GREAT, and Doc cut my glasses on the spot! I was in and out with glasses and contacts in 1.5 hours. Awesome!
Great little office in heart of Smyrna – We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Horak and his staff. We were seen with 10 min of our scheduled appt. Dr. Horak explained his findings in a non rushed manner. We had photos taken of our retina which is something we never had before. My sons glasses were made on site and ready in 15 min. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful in helping us choose glasses. I was able to leave with a trial pair of contacts. I would highly recommend EyesRUs as a personal family practice.
Great Place for all your eye needs – It was a pleasure getting my eyes checked by Dr. Horak. He was very friendly and professional and really knew what he was doing. Eyes R Us also has friendly staff, is nicely designed inside, and a comfortable place in general. Eyes R Us Family Optical – I have been to Eyes R Us a few times, and have been extremely satisfied with the service each time. The staff are very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Dr. Horak has examined my eyes when ever I go to Eyes R Us, and he continues to meticulously determine my newly required prescription, provides great deals on contacts and glasses, has a terrific and unique variety of modern frames, and is always a pleasure to talk to. A Hidden Jewel – I definitely agree with the last writer. I made an appointment for an exam with Dr. Horak at Eyes R Us and couldn't have been happier with the service I received. The exterior of the building is quite unassuming but when you walk in the doors you feel like you're in a Buckhead boutique. Great Service – I am a little confused after reading previous reviews of Eyes R Us Family Optical; maybe the office has recently undergone a change in staff! I came to Dr. Horak's office because he is on my insurance and I had a wonderful experience. HORRIBLE SERVICE – I went to this eye doctor because it was close to my job and my insurance covered the work I needed. Needless to say, everything was fine until I needed my contacts shipped to me in another state. After waiting two weeks for the lens to come in, I asked the receptionist to ship them to my new address. I even offered to have her use my FEDEX account number so I could track the package. Terrible Doctor and Staff – I called theoffice manager and it forwarded the call to the managers cell phone. I asked her if she would fax my prescription to WalMart. She said she was not in the office and said she would not fax it for me until much later. I told her that i need my prescription soon because i was on vacation and my contact ripped.I told her I was extremely aggravated that she could not get to it, she told me it was going to be 24-48hrs.
