When booking my appointment I was told over the phone that they deal with insurance directly, I said that was perfect and I was mostly interested in getting new contact lenses. They said no problem. When I arrived to my appointment I said that I would be paying for the exam out of pocket and would be using my insurance for contact lenses and any glasses I decide to buy. My whole family used to get our glasses with Raymond since he was in Zeller's in the old days. I found it difficult to deal with him while everyone else employed at Eyes on Main were very courteous and professional. Raymond was impersonal and it was as if it was an effort to look after me. Most recently I asked for parts for my glasses a special pair of prescrption accessorized motorcycle glasses purchased 6 years ago when $450 was above average.
