A total joke and rip-off period they advertise lwo pair for a certain amount. And then when you get there, you have to pay extra for the lenses and for the coatings. And by the time you walk out of there with 2 pairs, it's over $600.00

Angel was my helper there and she did an excellent job. I needed progressives (which I've never had or wanted before), and she guided me very professionally through the whole process. I've been going to Eyeglass World for more than ten years now, and every time I try a different place (walmart, etc) I end up disappointed. I do have one question. Why can't I access google reviews through their ad?
I stopped into the EyeGlass World in Cape Coral with a voucher for an eyeglass promotion. Tom was the person who helped me on that day, and when I returned to pick up my eyeglasses. He was extremely helpful and took care of me during the ordering and fitting of my glasses. The local manager was there on the day that I arrived as well ,and she was very nice and helpful... Heather is a rockstar and EGW is fortunate to have her. Very communicative and helpful. She made my contacts purchase seamless. The only thing out of her control is my RX was supposed to take 2 weeks, yet it took beyond 51 days. However, she stayed on top of things the best she could to gather information and get the contacts shipped.
I purchased $943.05 worth of glasses from the Fulton Ave. store on 7-3-23. I had to call to find out that they were ready (no calls from them). When I went in to p/u I thought something didn't seem right but had a serious fall and thought I must be sleep deprived. Their level of care checking for fit or correct prescription was subpar. The enitre Port Charlotte, Florida staff was excellent. Everyone was extremely helpful. The experience was painless and time effective. They know what they are doing and I can see great again, with new glasses.
Bad customer service, waited almost an hour before i had to ask how long to see the Dr, the rech then told me they were behind and said was not sure how long it would be. Very unprofessional and will not return! Dave at the desk did not seem to care in the least bit and could not be bothered to look up from his computer screen to talk to me
Honestly, the customer service leaves a lot to desired. I spoke to four different people on the phone trying to order contacts they keep giving me the run around. I was told that the walk-ins are priority for them. I had taken my business else and said let me give them another chance HUGE mistake.
