RecommendedI went to Dr.Balest just expecting an eye exam and new glasses.During the eye test it was discovered that I had cataract. Dr.Balest found that I had 20/80 vision with a glare vision of 20/800. After he did surgery 1 eye is at 20/20 vision that was operated on 2 weeks ago and the 1 that was operated on 2 days is already at 20/30 vision. Balest team was great to take care of me and comfort me as they knew my worries. I do recommend him to anybody and say thank you for giving me back my eyesight. You will be the only one I use.
Dr. Balest & staff are fantastic. They saw me within 24 hours of referral, where through & friendly but professional, which is what one wants when they don't feel well. Bonus: Dr Balest not only addressed & cured my immediate problem but recognized another one and made a referral to a retina specialist. I have nothing but praise for the entire staff and recommend them without hesitation.
they keep you waiting for a long time. you're hearded in and out quickly without much opportunity to even think of any questions you may want to ask. I did not feel very welcome. was given a cataract surgery diagnosis for both eyes and then told I had macular degeneration in both eyes. then just dismissed. really devastating.
I am very glad I was referred to Gainesville Eye Associates. They are very professional and caring organization. The saw me within 2 weeks of being referred for eye problems, They answered all my questions and my surgery is scheduled in 3 weeks for an non-emergency problem. Couldn't ask for any more.
Love this office! Very thorough exam and Dr. Ellison is a very caring doctor.
I received excellent service and care here. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
