When I arrived at Eye Care Associates for an appointment recently, they wanted me to pay $40 to collection agency before seeing the doctor. I explained the issue last year where I paid in full on the day of service and got bills months later indicating I owed more money. Ultimately, they told me it was because the insurance wouldn’t cover some services that I was told they would by their staff.
