SLOWWWWW! Scheduled for 11:15. Arrived at 11:05. 1:30 and still waiting to get called back. Will show up 2 hours late for the other eye. This is crap! I would get fired at my job if we operated like this.
My eyelid surgery was scheduled early in the morning so my waiting period was short. The nurses who tended to me before the surgery were wonderful. Very, very personable. They were thorough in getting my past history of surgeries and any other health issues. They were very kind and kept me at ease while waiting for my surgery. I could not have asked for any nurses better than these two ladies. I had a very good experience at the Eye Surgery Center in Shreveport.
Husband here for cataract surgery. Dr Van Norman is good but oh my gosh, we wait and wait. Each time we have had to wait 2-3 hrs before he got called back. We arrived 1/2 hr early each time. We got here at 11 today. Surgery scheduled for 11:30 and they are just now finishing up at 3 pm.
Had cataract surgery there in January. The staff was very helpful and professional.
