I went in to have lens replacement surgery on both eyes. I was upsold to the higher quality lens and told there would be a one time fee and that my insurance would cover the balance. Apparently they do not really tell you the truth about that. I have receive an invoice for almost $400. When I called to ask why I was told they don't mention that maybe your insurance will not cover everything. In my opinion they should be open and truthful when telling people costs for surgery.
