The staff is alright but very unorganized. I was told three times to come in for 12:45, I show up at 12:15, and told I'm not supposed to be there until 2 cause my appointment is at 215. I wait, I'm from out of town. 430pm rolls around and I still haven't seen the doctor, mind you this place closes at 4pm, so the secretaries just grab their stuff and go and don't even worry about who's left waiting. I was sent to the Ottawa Eye Hospital as an emergency case on 15.06.2023. I had a retinal tear and was grateful to Dr. Chris Morey at the Kanata Optometry Centre for a thorough examination and referral to the Ottawa Eye Institute. I also had to wait a couple of hours before being seen, however I understand the wait and did not complain. The eye surgery ( laser was used to seal the retinal tear) was done by Dr. Abdul Karim, and it went well, again no complaints.., HOWEVER.,, I cannot see my Optometrist Dr. Morey for a follow ... read more
