I only came here after first going to the urgent care upstairs, who sent me to Bergan ED, who's attending said, and I quote, "WHY DID THEY SEND YOU HERE" like I was covered in snakes. (long story) I came in as a brand new patient, with a left eye that was matted closed, in pain and ya girl, TERRIFIED.. The billing department never answers the phone - front desk is worthless. I would not recommend this office.
Very compassionate and caring staff. Nice facility with comfortable waiting areas. Knowledgeable doctors and convenient appointments! Highly recommended.
My family has gone to Eye Consultants for generations (my parents, myself and now my children). The doctors are extremely nice. We see Dr. Schekirke. HOWEVER, the front desk staff is EXTREMELY rude. My insurance hadn't been updated. She was extremely loud, dismissive and rude. I asked her if she could lower her tone. She refused. I told her I would report her for being rude.
