Bummed they changed all the staff when they sold the stores. Prices for glasses are ridiculous. Thankful Dr. Lee is still there.
I've always had really good experiences here, the people are great, extremely friendly. However, I didn't love being blindsided today with an $80 bill AFTER our exam for my daughter and I (we have state insurance). I let them know, if I would have known about the fee I would have passed on that part out of the exam and was informed they are not able to do that and I could go somewhere else if I wasn't ok with paying for the imaging of the back of the eye. As a long-time patient of Dr. Lee's, I trusted that my teen would be able to go to an appointment by themselves. I was there in October as well for my check-up (this is important). Apparently, they do not do the same type of testing as they used to, such as chemical dilation of the eyes. Now they have a machine. I was told at my appointment before I sat down for the testing, as I was offered a choice the last time between the chemical dilation or pay out of pocket for this machine (this was 2 years ago). what an absolute circus show! the doctor is good but the optometrist staff is horrendous. Especially Mary , who is obviously in charge. my glasses were ordered incorrectly without anti glare. i expressed my concern right away and was told to try them out for a few days and bring em back if i had a problem. i brought them back the same hour. the lady who originally ordered my glasses was no longer there (was fired) and seemed to have a complete staff turn over. at first Mary was trying to get me to spend 400 dollars on a new ... read more
