This place runs like a well-oiled machine, operated by people who are friendly, knowledgeable, and focused. Absolutely the best journey down the eye-exam-to-glasses-and-contacts pipeline I've ever taken.
I was told I would have my eyes dilated for a glaucoma test, but didn't have to. So very glad. My blue eyes are very sensitive to brightness . Thank you Eye Care Hawaii.
Only eye doctor open 7 days/week in Hilo. Dr. Nakasone removed something stuck in my eye on an emergency basis on a Saturday. She and the entire staff are professional, efficient and friendly. I was lucky bc I thought it was a plugged drainage canal done over 10 years ago by laser for my glaucoma. Uber serious. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.
