We recently brought our akita to see Dr. Knollinger for a severe eye infection which ended up being an autoimmune disease called uveodermatologic syndrome (VKH). The doctor was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed our dog, even though this is not a common disease. She explained everything to us in detail and started our dog on a new and innovative treatment method to save his eyesight.
