Doctor is great. Helped me figure out what was wrong with my eyes last year. However, this year I needed glasses and my insurance only covers contacts OR glasses. When I scheduled my appointment I told the lady that. Every person I talked to, I told I was only getting glasses and I knew that meant I wasn't getting a contact prescription. Yet they did the contact exam (I don't know which is which) and my insurance didn't cover it, so I had to pay $80 for an exam I didn't want or need. Today I visited for the first time and I was SO impressed! The staff was extremely friendly and personable, as was Dr. Miller. They are professional, thorough, and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. I've found my new eye doctor!
Very disappointed with this place. I scheduled an appoint online which was probably my 1st mistake...I should have called and made the appointment. They sent a reply email right away confirming the appointment. Unfortunately I wrote the date of the appointment down wrong and went to the appointment on the wrong day. They had never contacted me as some business will do to remind me of the appointment (had they done that I would had realized that I wrote down the wrong day). I called and made an appointment. Told them which insurance I had and verified they took it. I get there and I'm told they don't take that insurance but would be happy to do everything out of pocket with me. Really? I'm not happy to do this out of pocket and that my dear is why I asked over the phone. Complete waste of time and I feel they tricked me to going in there hoping I would just pay for everything. Shameful.
