AMAZING experience from start to finish. Exterior Design Studio knows how to balance beautiful design with "what works" for busy families (no fussy upkeep!) in *********'s cold climate. The project was completed in two days. The crew was efficient and respectful and the final product turned out great. I would definitely recommend.

We have been working with Exterior Design Studio for over 15 years and have spent over $250,000 and have done 5 phases. Their service is always outstanding. We have at least 7 other friends have used them and they all have had excellent experiences. Mark is always accessible even on weekends he calls back. 2013 unprecedented winter was tough on plants and EDS replaced things even long after the warrantee. By far their designs are the most creative and we always feel we got way more than we expected. Sarah

You gotta love the design that Mark kicks out. Too bad he doesn't pay more attention to customer service and what really grows where, especially in Minnesota. He does replace after 1st year if it fails, but is reluctant so be certain to be very diligent in making this request as it's part of your contract. The fancy plants were beautiful, but greater than 50% never made it despite careful watering and attention through the Fall. He planted the same thing again and they died the second year as well. Beautiful Results – Three years ago, we chose EDS for our backyard landscape. They transformed our barren suburban yard into a north woods style oasis, with unique and colorful plantings and year-round interest. We now have enough privacy to comfortably enjoy our outdoor living space. We love the bluestone patio and the serenity of our small water feature. Snake in the grass – Mark thinks he is gods gift to landscaping. He claims other landscapers use a cookie cutter. When I looked at all his plants he uses I noticed he uses all the same ones in his designs. I was told he was coming out to the property to look at it to determine design. Someone else showed up with a camera clicking away at taking pictures. Decided to have only the front yard completed along with the area along side the garage. He seemed upset about this. 5+ years with EDS and Happy as Ever!!!! – We decided to go with EDS 5+ years ago after we put in a pool. We interviewed and got designs from 3 other landscape companies. Every other design besides EDS was boring and very expected. Mark Ritter came up with a beautiful and unique design for around our pool.
