So, I have been here 2 months now, let me tell you a little bit about my stay...the elevator has been out for a month. I am 67 and 39 steps up and down stairs is a lot for me but the poor woman with the walker just never goes out because she can't. We get no answers when we ask! I booked hotel for a couple of days between moving apartments thinking it was an Extended Stay America; it's a rebranded Motel 6. While the room itself was passable, the overall experience is overshadowed by the condition of the common areas. The lobby and hallways were noticeably dirty — stained carpet, grimy floors, and an overall lack of upkeep that made me uncomfortable touching anything on the way to my room. That was the worst hotel experience of my life. I admit that I made a mistake in the first place when I chose this hotel. I booked it only because it was close to where we needed to be. The rooms are disgusting. After we checked in, we asked to change rooms because the bathroom was dirty, the kitchen cabinets were broken, and the fridge made noise as if it were a rocket ship. Awful. I have traveled at least 5x a year and this was the worst experience I've had. Only reason I checked in was bc I already had driven for 5 hours it was 1240a in a sketchy neighborhood and my teenage daughter and I had to be up at 7am for a full game of sport tournaments. We desperately needed rest. Felt extremely unsafe when a man in an bicycle followed us from the main road and was circling the parking lot as we waited purposely in our car in hopes he would leave. No toilet paper in bathroom and nobody at the front desk. Had to walk to store to buy it. How does that even happen?
