Do not stay at the Extended Stay in the Kansas City area. The outside looks good, but the room and service were substandard
Had a really bad checkin experience from the get go the person was rude she told us we could not checkin as we were late but said we can come back later to checkin at around 5 am. But said it's still a may be when we asked to give us more clarity she simply repeated the same thing. When we asked expedia to intervene she told them our reservation was already canceled as we showed up after 12 pm but to us not once she mentioned this and was giving a false hope to come back after a few hours. Horrible place! If you arrive after midnight they don't let you check-in even though you've paid for the room for that night and the next 3 nights!
My husband had a heartache while working in Kansas, last minute flight from California, no where to stay. The staff @ this extended stay were incredible! They went out of their way to accommodate. Tiffany found a room in 15 minutes for me. I couldn’t have asked for better in a really stressful situation. Thank you again for extended stay Overland Park.
