This is our second time booking a weekend with this hotel, the first stay was a mess but we decided to give it a try… this time we booked for the apartment style room for the weekend instead of staying it wasn’t available the booking was set. Once we got to the hotel that’s when we were told it wasn’t available and had to get a basic room and they took off $100 because of their fault. Tim at the front desk has a really bad attitude, 100% the time he has been rude to me and other guests here. He is never in the office; he's always out at the smoke table with the other guests smoking 95% of the time. The place is full of roaches, the downstairs is better, the second floor is infested. They advertise a full-size fridge which does not exist, it's a mini fridge that just leaks water everywhere. I would give this location zero stars if that were an option. My experience at Extended Stay America – The Woodlands was unacceptable from start to finish. The front desk staff (with the sole exception of the night clerk, Meredith) are rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful. Guests are treated as if the staff is doing them a favor by allowing them to stay there, rather than providing a paid service. The level of unprofessionalism and confrontation is shocking. I do not recommend this property. I rather sleep under a bridge than be a guest there again.This place does not deserve to be in The Woodlands. Front desk staff, with the exception of the night time worker a young man with long hair, were rude, confrontational, and unprofessional. Several employees were out of uniform, lacked name tags, and I witnessed one young lady give attitude or refused to identify herself when someone asked for her name.
