With the exception of the Night manager who had to take over (he was polite and professional), the staff are very rude, the Night lady as well as the morning lady... They have zero business being in the service industry... I've been descriminated against because of my race in Fairbanks before, and this felt just like that
Rooms were outdated with thin ceiling walls. People below us complaining over us walking too loudly. Manager was very professional and understanding when delivering the noise complaint from the downstairs neighbor. Shower curtain were to short causing the water to leak out the shower and make a mess on the floor. Had to beg for more towels. When I complained about the curtains the young girl at the front desk was very sarcastic saying "well if you point it at the shower wall you won't have a problem" umm ok didn't know that'... read more
I had a terrible experience at this Extended Stay America location. The Old man working at the front desk was extremely unprofessional, rude, and even made racist and offensive remarks toward me. He went so far as to threaten to call the police for no valid reason, which made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. He even made an inappropriate and disgusting personal comment, which was completely unacceptable and uncalled for. Because of his behavior, I immediately decided to leave and not stay at this hotel. There are much better hotels with better service and better prices in the area.
I booked a hotel and they gave away my rooms. Leaving me no place to stay for the night at a time when there was as super busy in I had a confirmation email and everything, but they would not honor it. Fairbanks. They’re unethical people. highly recommend not staying here because they’ll just give away your room when it feels appropriate for them.
