they quoted a certain number and totally of by 70 dollars
lied about the price!! wanted $20 to come out and then $160 to unlock the car don't use this service. on their website they only post the reviews that paint them in a good picture big rip off!! stay away!!!
This is basically robbery. They overcharge people who are in a bad situation locked out of their house. We were charged $160 for a 20 min drive to our house and to open a bottom lock. He was at our house less than 10 minutes. This is ridiculous.
First of all, they shouldn’t rip people off. $160 when it should only be about $55 is so wrong.
Terrible pricing! Was told $10 service fee plus minimum of $25 labor fee based on the lock. Guy came out in 20 min, fairly good timing, but then tried to charge me $161.00!!! 😖. I told him that was too high, popalock was going to charge $55, I walked away to talk to hubby he then said how about $120? I said that is still way too high! This is Robbery!! Was told its $10 for the trip... then based off the lock $25 and up. He shows up, quotes $225 on the garage door. Then haggled down to $125... what the??? so, my husband finally says no we aren't going to be robbed. So, he says ok well its going to be $10 for the service charge plus $45 labor..ummm what labor??? He says well I drove here. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER!!! DONT DO IT!
Technician was quick and courteous however the price, which they DO NOT quote over the phone correctly, is nothing short of ROBBERY.I get it, we are stupid for locking our keys in the car... If I hadn’t had a doctor appointment to get to after work, Id have politely asked the kind gentleman to lock my keys back in and I would have called somebody else. It is gouging. DO NOT CALL THIS BUSINESS!!! STAY AWAY! They are fast and friendly, great to talk to, but completely taking advantage of people.
First of all, I called and asked for a quote was quoted $10 for call and $20 and up, to unlock. Well, they get here and charge $150. $10 service charge, $95 to actually open the door, and $45 for “the tools”...what? Call Pop a Lock, not these guys. I called Pop-a-Lock after to compare because the “technician” from Express stated “these are the prices all over town”...pop a lock got my car info, year, make, and model; and was able to give me a TRUE quote BEFORE arriving and wasting both of our time. $50. the driver "guy" told me he will be there in 20 min and showed up 45 min. Than he started working on opening before he told me the price, told me to sign it . I asked him how much it will be and than he told me. He tried to tell me that my car is different so he has to charge more than normal. I don't recommend them at all. I got helped with this exact car and one of my friends car with pop a lock and they were 2 and a half times cheaper and came the time they said they would come.
