So, I wont entirely bash this company. They did provide a very detailed professional report. Was on time, thorough, and affordable. However, they appraised our home for about $50,000 LESS!!! They basically said they don't care about the comps we provided and that this market doesn't contribute to value. How in the world does a market where people would pay 5%+ over asking price not contribute to what a home can be sold for??? Terrible appraised value. Appointment was scheduled over a week in advance of the appraisal meeting. I was told to have a casher's check ready because personal checks or credit cards are not accepted. I went to the bank to have the cashier's check ready and took time off work to meet the appraiser. Less than and hour before the meeting I was contacted to cancel the appointment. I suggest working with a company that acts professionally and has their act together.

I have bought and sold many houses and NEVER have I had such a bad experience. The "Appraiser in training" required a repair rider on very minor issues that the buyer was more than aware of and willing to take care of themselves. They almost lost me the sale and cost me $2,400.00 in repairs on a $52,000 house sale. HORRIBLE and very unprofessional
