My dad is currently in the process of having a home built under contract with expo homes. He had jurisdiction over the exterior paint job, as well as the type of brick being used on the exterior. The builder painted the house the completely wrong color. When this issue was addressed, the builder refused to repaint the house and basically told us that he could just sell the house to someone else. Nice homes and neighborhood! Although I have left a deposit, the builder is not releasing the lots so I cant sign a contract until he releases them. Prices have already gone up since I left my deposit. I understand that price of lumber and materials have gone up, however, I feel as though I should be able to sign contract as soon as I can. Purchased a new build from them in Winder, Ga in 09/2017. We had issues with the quality of the work from the beginning. Their representatives misrepresented the development during the entire process. We were told it would be a gated community, that never happened. We were told they would develop the pond in the development and add a walk path, never happened. The realtor named Ward Buick and I spoke about the grading of my yard, I wanted it a flat as possible.
