They created the greatest trip of a lifetime for us under difficult circumstances. Our vacation was so good that we actually moved to Alaska!
Very poor experience with Explore Tours. They did not look out for us. They printed tickets to the park for the wrong day. We took the train up to Denali and couldn't get on any tour. When we called them notifying them of the problem they were rude to us and rude to the hotel staff. So we got to ride the train up and watch seven buses leave without us..to the national park. Standby didn't work. Nor did Explore Tours for us. We would not recommend them.
Stumbled across Explore Tours when I was trying to put together an itinerary for our family trip to Alaska. They emailed me a suggested itinerary when they received a request of mine for information. When I contacted them to find out who they were, I ended up telling them the places we wanted to go, and some of our preferences: (train travel, lodges, sleeping arrangements for four), and they came back with a perfect itinerary!
