Had a great time. Ian was a great guide from the initial launch, trip out to the island, lunch and back. He brought us a tandem kayak. First time either us had been in one but it was very high end and helpful. We asked and he said he’d bring singles or tandem. We brought food. He brought food… there was more than enough. We were delighted to have found this hidden gem that probably won’t be hidden for long! Ian made it so easy and so fun to take a sunset trip to a small hidden beach and back! My husband and I had a blast and enjoyed the view immensely. We will definitely come back and recommend them to everyone we know.
This is the trip if you want the “locals” experience! We kayaked to a private island for a picnic lunch before heading back. The entire trip was high quality from kayaks to paddles to the life jackets. It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday!
We had such a great time out on the water, saw views of Traverse City we would never have seen otherwise. Went out on a Wednesday night and got to see the Traverse City Yacht Club racing across the bay!
