The funnest place in the world? Dare I say it? Yes, this may be the funnest place I have ever been. It's hands on science that would be great for kids, but everyone I've ever taken here has had a blast. Perfect for out of town visitors. Make sure to see the tactile dome. It's a pitch black maze you have to navigate through.
Lovely place Fun for all! I've learned so much here and I wasn't even there that long. They have everything for a small child to an adult. I love coming here and having a blast. You can literally lose track of time when you are in here because there's so much to look at. I love their exhibits and toys. I will definitely go here again with friends and family.
Explore in the Exploratorium There are not many museums around that allow you to actually play around with all of the exhibits. The exploratorium is one ofthose museums. It make children have fun while learning. The museum is science based but more geared towards physics. My neice hated physics in school, but after visiting teh museum a few times, she leraned to understand concepts and now she relates everything she learns to the exploratorium. Its a wonderful educational experince in which you have a great time.
Science, the fun way. This is e very fun place especially for children. They get to discover so many things that they had never even thought of before. They usually don't even realize they are learning, its a day of fun. Adults can have a good time here too, they won't learn as much but they will get to experience all the hands on stuff. FUN, but chaotic This is a great place to go when they are slow. I went on free day with a fieldtrip and it was one of the worse days of my life. kids everywhere. I reallylike all the exhibits they offer although it always seems like some are broken or out of service when we are there.
cool!!!!! The exploratorium is really for people of all ages! My favorite thing was always the room where you jump in front of that screen and the light flashes and it leaves the image of you in mid air doing air guitar or something less geeky : ) . But really, this place is thriving with cool scientific stuff. Bring your kids andf they will have a great day and you will too!!
Explore with your mind Even when you get older this place is still pretty cool. I came here with my family a couple of times and it was fun for everyone. I really like the fact that its very hands on and you get to do everything yourself, you dont even really realize you're learning. The Exploratorium is one of the best musuems I have ever been to. It offers a wide variety of hands-on science activities fun for all ages -- although I loved it as a child, I still love to go there as I have gotten older. Some memorable activities isa pig's eye dissection, the light boxes, and giant pendulum exhibits. A valuable tip: the first Wednesday of every month is the Exploratorium's free admission day.
