If you read nothing else, read this: We had an easy time with Expert Properties until we left. (Which is why I am leaving two stars and not just one) We feel that Expert Properties severely overcharged our safety deposit, and overall feel that we were taken advantage of. Clark, We are sorry you had a bad experience. We do our best to treat tenants and owners fairly. We do not make money off cleaning. We sent in a third party and they are thorough and charge a reasonable hourly rate. The best way to prevent from being charged is completely clean the home and remove your belongings before you leave. We have photo records of the cleaning needed and we sent you a sample of what was cleaned; stove, drawers, window sills, refrigerator, laundry room, backyard trash and etc. If you did move out pict... read more
