No communication, no updates, and no certainty, this repair shop caused me a month of frustration and disappointment. Originally, I had my laptop serviced here to get a fan replaced (I brought my own parts) and paid $80, I received no communication of when it was ready for days. I had my screen replaced here, but after the repair, new issues surfaced. The screen continued to have problems despite the replacement. I contacted the business by email to ask for help, but I never received a response. I also visited in person to discuss the issue. Before they reviewed the details of the repair or my invoice, staff dismissed my concerns and did not seem interested in investigating the problem. Jason and the guys diagnosed my faulty mobile phone port charger, then recommended I first try servicing the phone to save money. I left them the phone to service. It took under 30 mins and it was fixed perfectly! They gave me back my phone, fully charged, working perfectly, and it cost very little with no inconvenience. Awesome!
I’ve been to Experimac Carlton twice to get my laptop fixed over the years. Both times, other shops told me I’d need to replace my laptop, so I was pleasantly surprised when Experimac fixed the issues with ease — and within just a few hours. Excellent service and honesty. Would totally recommend!
Got my phone repaired twice here. Both times within 2 months the screen was broken again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, and returned out of convenience. I will never get anything repaired here again. They also overcharged me for a mac repair (I didn't know the going rate, which I suppose is my bad but I was under the impression we only haggled in flea markets or Vietnam). Anyway, DON'T go here.
