Absolute crap we got the insurance for a trip in December 2025. One of our trip members became a widow during that time. we have yet to get any sort of refund despite having the insurance all we get is thank you for your response. We’re working on it. Please send us information (which is the same information over and over again). It’s now been nine months with no progress despite multiple emails multiple tickets multiple times sending them the requested information with screenshots and justifications for comparison. I know this is a ridiculous place to put a review but truly Expedia customer service is useless and their policies are dangerous if booking abroad. Avoid using their platform, Airbnb or any other will give you better options and support

Stopped using it 10+ years ago after a terrible experience. Thought they may have improved since and booked a hotel with them recently— well, only finding out that they charged a $100 markup (about 25% of the total) on top of hotel’s own price. Will definitely not use it again!

If zero stars were possible! Consumers beware! Customer service is horrible and unhelpful. VRBO hosts are able to cancel your booking and show that you cancelled it. When I brought this to customer service, they don't care. These people are able to rip you off!
