Just as warning for people on holidays, the guys here have no idea how to deal with non-American citizens. Even if you turn up with pre-paid liability insurance and have pre-booked a car they won’t accept any of it. They will ask you to find numbers for customer service back in your home country then ask you how to dial out of America? They also won’t have any other vehicles onsite for you when they decide they don’t trust any of your paperwork and you’ll have to find a rental elsewhere after wasting half your day. I had a fantastic experience renting from Enterprise in Beaverton! The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure I got the Escalade I needed for our family road trip. They even allowed me to pick up the car earlier than scheduled, which was a huge help. The vehicle was in excellent condition and perfect for our journey. A great tip: while Enterprise has another location in Portland, renting from Beaverton means you avoid the extra Multnomah County tax.
