My insurance changed so I decided to give Exeter Eye Associates a shot. I have myopia so I always opt for retinal imaging. When I was seen by Mary Mathias, the appointment started routine and fine. She got to the retinal imaging and told me I have a hole in my right retina and to see a specialist ASAP because if I SNEEZED I could go partially blind. Excuse me? Great place for an exam! The staff is so friendly and helpful!
I had my eye exam at Exeter Eye Associates in Boston today. The online appointment booking was easy, the visit started right on time, and the exam itself felt thorough and professional. However, before scheduling, I had called to confirm the cost of the contact lens fitting and was told it would be between $60–$80. At checkout, I was charged $110, and when I asked, the receptionist curtly said it’s always $110. That lack of transparency and tone were disappointing, even though the rest of the experience was smooth.
Great customer service and very nice doctor who works well with children!
