We received a letter saying they were tacking on an additional $558 to our bill because we had paid three late fees in the past 12 months. Upon further investigation the late fees were due to payments having to be forwarded from their old address to their new address which they moved to in Jan but did not send out notification of directly to their customers. I've been a member of Lyon-Coffey Electric for almost 20 years. I have seen their ups and downs. Billing has never been an issue as I pay my bills on time by directly mailing it in with the provided return envelope which ALWAYS has the correct mailing address! That is until they offered a FREE online bill payment option. I don't understand those who "pay their bill online" to some 3rd parth entity who takes their money then simply mails a payment into Lyon-Coffey Electric.
