⭐ 1 star — A Pattern of Negligence and Zero Accountability This is not my first problem with this title company, and I have the emails to prove it. I am posting this review because other buyers and sellers deserve to know what they are walking into. Current Issue — Dupont Closing: Two months after closing I was not receiving a refund check for my utility overpayment — I was receiving bills from the City of Minneapolis. I had the most horrible experience with this company and Margarite in particular. I was selling my parents home after my mother had to go to memory care for Alzheimer’s. They were impatient lacked kindness and rude during this entire process. They acted frustrated with me on multiple occasions as I haven’t done this before. I was frustrated and voiced my frustrations at one time on the phone and was hung up on. No compassion or kindness.
We had a fantastic experience working with Gabriel during the closing process on both our old and new home. We appreciated his professionalism and great communication. We would work with Executive Title again without question.
Mark Knowles and the entire staff at Executive are top notch professionals. I have been involved in several closings over the last 30 years and never have I experienced such class, knowledge, expertise, and friendly staff as I have with Executive Title. Once I had forgotten to bring an original copy of a POA form and Gabriel Thomason (closer) says "no problem, we will drive to your parents residence and get the necessary signatures". Worst closing I have ever experienced. Closer was Rob Whiteis, not helpful or reasonable. We were selling our home and my husband was unable to attend. I had his power of attorney. We had all of our papers notarized by a notary in Colorado. He typed through the county and state and put in the county and state he/we were in. Rob would not accept this, after leaving his office I called the recorder and they told me it would have been recorded with the corrections.
