I searched long and hard for an AME in Austin and Chicago as I was in the process of moving and beginning my flight training in Chicago. I decided to schedule my Class-1 Med with Dr. Robert Noven. I visited Dr. Noven for my first, third class FAA medical and it was a great experience. As the other reviews mention he is very friendly, professional and make the experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend him.
Given this was my first experience with an Airman Medical Certificate, I was pretty overwhelming with the process and gravity of everything. Dr. Nevon was extremely helpful throughout the process, and made everything a lot less stressful. Although I have a couple items to follow up with, he gave me a solid outline in order to proceed most effectively, and has been very accessible for all of my questions. I have been flying for 15 years, and without hesitation I can say Dr. Noven is about as good as it gets if you’re looking for an aviation medical examination. He’s punctual, friendly, and very helpful if you have any medical related questions. Always a positive experience!
