We absolutely love Executive Martial Arts! My Son started at EMA back in 2023. He is Junior Black Belt (품 (Poom / Pum) now. Mr Garland is amazing. He is a Master level Instructor of Korean and Japanese Martial Arts with more than 30 years of study, practice and teaching. The coaching here is top-tier. Chris is the absolute greatest. He is a master in the art form of martial arts. His unique perspective allows him to teach in an incredible way no one else can. He is patient and willing to listen. However, he also knows his subject well and knows when to be concrete in his words. At times he is passionate, at times a little tired, at times very serious, or at times laughing with you. He is a teacher and if you get to know him long enough, a friend.
Master Garland is a phenomenal teacher, and the most gifted martial artist I've ever known. Not only for adults, but for children as well. His patience and ability with neurodivergent children is absolutely legendary.
Chris has been a great teacher for our son. Very impressive.
My son James has been working with Chris for a few months now. James is a 5 year old autistic brilliant boy. Through Chris’ compassion, empathy, and discipline.
