Our bat friendly process of exclusion was developed in the 1970's by the nations leading bat specialists Marshall Hanks and Dr. Merlin Tuttle who went on to establish the organization Bat Conservation International based in Austin, Texas. Quick to respond to website inquiry. We weren't at home at the time they did the work, but they sent pictures and explained what they did. This is the second time we have had them-we had storm damage so had to re-shingle which destroyed previous work. Highly recommend.
We have been dealing with bats for 4 or 5 years now! We have had them in the house every year, mostly in the fall, and several in the garage in the winter. Couldn’t find out HOW they were getting in! Carol and Charlie have once again come to our rescue. Over 8 years ago they bat proofed our house and we never had another bat - until we had to have our roof re-shingled due to hail damage. The roofing company destroyed the bat proofing system that was installed 8 years ago, so we once again had bats. They came to once again fix our problem within a couple days of calling them. We had Exclusive Bat Proofing bat proof our house about a year and a half ago. We have not heard another bat up in our ceiling since however one found a way into an unfinished storage area above our garage recently. I called Exclusive Bat Proofing up since they have a 3 year guarantee. I left a message for them. I am the maintenance coordinator for the Pipestone housing authority. We have used Carol and Charlie for 5 or 6 of our propertys. We have never had another bat after that! We also tried a company from Canby minnesota for one job and got taken!!! I am terrified of bats and after buying a different home we had 8 bats in 7 days......called Exclusive Batproofing. Charlie and Carol took care of the problem and we have not seen another bat since, they are great!!!
