I foolishly got a groupon here for a smog check. My car has a tune from a previous owner which is CA CARB approved. However, Excellent Auto Care refused to approve my smog because it was missing a sticker in the hood. It would have been nice if they said "Hey, you're missing the sticker. We can't pass your car until you get that first, so why don't you come back and we can do the smog another day." I had a great experience at Excellent Auto Care! The staff was friendly, communicative, and made the process super easy. They got my smog test done quickly and clearly explained what to expect. What could have been a frustrating situation turned into a smooth and stress-free visit. I really appreciated how efficient they were and how quickly they got me in and out. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend them to anyone looking for great service.
From the first contact to the final transaction this shop was up front and open with me. The communication was spot on and I feel like they took care of me. The main person I was in contact kwith was Jason Estrada and he kept me informed of the status and what was going on. My vehicle was done in a timely manner. I will return for future services.
