I'm a tough guy. But conversely I'm completely chicken shit when it comes to surgery. I wouldn't want anyone other than Elizabeth Detschelt (Dr Libby) to cut into my carotid artery! She's the right age, and has the right amount of experience! Best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever met! On the morning of my surgery, I told Dr Libby, I have cash, credit cards, and a passport. Dr. Detschelt is a super nice doctor. So honest and human. She made me feel like I really mattered .
Dr. Detschelt operated on my mom and performed a vein graft. This Dr. was the most amazing doctor I have ever met in my life in regards to her explanation of the surgery and her interaction with my mom and us (family). She took the time to go over everything and in extreme detail.... She is very highly recommended.
