Awful. They do not care about their patients, which is especially horrifying given that they work with children. Dr Gutti is the most rude and condescending doctor I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting with, and Dr B is fine but does not do anything at all or even bother to see his patients, even after inpatient hospitalization. Me, the pharmacist, and his father have been trying for DAYS to get my son’s medications refilled and neither the nurse nor the doctor has even bothered to call back, let alone refill them. The providers are wonderful, the therapists are wonderful. But god forbid you need the nurse to do her job and call in meds or prior authorizations. I realize the health care industry is under staffed but she just flat out refuses to do her job.
I go for therapy and for medication and I've been going to Latrobe for about maybe 2 years now! It took a bit to work out medications, but it takes time y'know? They're not gonna know right away the meds you need. They're always really quick to pick up the phone when I call to make appointments which is really nice because then I don't have to play phone tag. This staff has been overworked and under appreciated. Westmoreland County is in a health crisis and there are not enough workers to meet the need. Please be patient with them and treat them with the respect that you expect you yourself to be treated.
Rude staff, unorganized office, youll wait days to get a refill of meds they prescribe. Avoid avoid avoid
