Jonathan Kaminar has been such a God-send to me as I work through some extremely painful events. He listens, encourages, and is REAL - for which I am most thankful. Quite honestly, the entire staff has been just as attentive and caring. I know in my heart I will see the benefits of working WITH Jonathan in my recovery. He is a blessing!
I started seeing this psychiatrist virtually and things were fine at first. Appointments were straightforward, and I appreciated the convenience of telehealth. However, over time the cost of each visit quietly increased — from about $32 to over $50, then nearly $100. I would never recommend this office to anyone ever in my life. There are serious ethical concerns with patient treatment and their improper testing methods (CPT) and refusal to listen to patient concerns regarding medication side effects. The doctor is nonexistent in the patient’s care and the nurse practitioner can only do what is in their scope. Unprofessional handling of any symptoms above low grade depression or anxiety. Cannot calmly or effectively de-escalate, and will poke at “problem” patients to get reactions, and then up meds without consent. Speaks to ADULT patients’ parents without them in the room, which is a violation of HIPAA. Regardless of how “problematic” a patients behavior may be, violating HIPAA and instigating an argument is unprofessional and not up to any standard of care.
