Installation was great but they don't like to provide follow up service. It's really hard to get them back for "it's not working" problems, much less for annual cleaning. They installed a heat pump at our house and they were extremely professional, adjusting the design from original specs as needed, putting down cloths to walk on so they didn't track dirt through the house, cleaning up afterwards, etc. They were also very courteous and friendly. We couldn't ask for a better installation. Follow up? Not so much.
I apprenticed and rented from Excel 2002-2007. I was given competitive wages for the current market at that time and housing at a fair market cost. The house had decent heat and enough hot water to function with my room mates. It was clean and maintained. I was employed 5 years and given trade recognition for all on the job time. Have a Mitsubshi mini split system installed several years ago. It has failed twice. Still waiting for a replacement after two years. Excel will not return calls, and Mitsubishi has been no help in warranty replacement. Avoid at all costs!!!
