An excellent Company to work with I have moved from New Canaan, CT to Manhattan to Vero Beach, FL and Wilmington, NC all within the last few years. I have had furniture in storage in both Vero and Raleigh and have just consolidated everything in Raleigh at Excel. The moves have gone well with great service and reasonable prices. Our contact, Kris, was very responsive and did a great job of easing the stress of our recent cross-county move to Cary. She was quick to return emails and phone calls, and assured me that she would handle scheduling issues, even on the weekend, if we needed to change the delivery date at the last minute. DO NOT USE THEIR PACKERS I give Excel a signle star because of their packing team. The rest of their team--the movers, office staff, etc were great. However, one of the primary goals of a moving company is to safely get your good from point A to B and they fell down miserably. Their packing team did a sloppy job, lied to me and told me they packed up my attic items when they didn't and missed packing several cabinets/closets. Definitely Recommend I would definitely recommend Excel Moving and Storage to anyone moving from the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. I searched for Triangle moving companies, and their reputation earned the highest rating by far. They gave an estimate that was half that of 2 Guys and a Truck. Their moving coordinator was even able to move the date of my move up, and called me in advance to arrange the date change. Review Absolutely terrible moving experience! They were completely unprepared for our move. First, they sent 2 people to pack up our entire house telling us it would take 5-7 hours, 12 hours later (8pm!) they were not finished packing had run out of boxes, tape and other supplies. Second, they came to load the truck which we were told would take âa few hoursâ they packed for TWELVE hours then at 7pm told us it wasnât all going to fit on the truck (because they had put another clients belongings on there as well).
