We made an offer on a home that was built less than 3years ago. Going in I thought this inspection was not needed because the home was so new. We found more than a dozen builder issues. Turns out the owners never did a pre-drywall inspection or a final inspection with the builder. Had they done these, and with an inspector, the issues would have been resolved quickly and at no cost to the owner. Very glad we had Homekey. They saved us a lot of repair money in this transaction. I chose to do a general inspection of a new construction home with Leak Detection as my only additional service. On the day of the scheduled inspection, Mike Lawson performed the inspection on time and very thoroughly. He was able to find many items that needed attention that the builder had missed.
