We are currently building a duplex with Excel Homes, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. We’ve invested over half a million dollars into this property, and what we’ve received in return is unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and extremely poor customer service. From the beginning, communication has been slow, evasive, and inconsistent. No one responds in a timely manner—if they even respond at all. What was supposed to be an exciting journey of building a home turned into a long, frustrating ordeal. Even worse, when issues were raised, the after-sales service was dismissive and slow to respond.
